Director Shouryuv's debut film Hi Nanna has won appreciation from fans and critics alike. Film buffs have been raving about Nani and Mrunal Thakur's chemistry, and the film's emotional scenes which seemed to have struck a chord with the audiences.
On day 4, the film earned Rs 8.25 crore, the highest since its release on December 7 where it made Rs 4.9 crore. The Telugu version of the film had an occupancy of 61 percent on Sunday.

How much did Hi Nanna earn on Day 4

The film's Telugu version also displayed 72 percent occupancy in the evening show where Hyderabad displayed 73 percent occupancy in the night show.
Hi Nanna, also released in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Overall, the film earned Rs 27.9 crore worldwide.

Mrunal Thakur on listening to the narration of Hi Nanna

Speaking to a media portal, Mrunal Thakur spoke about how she was hooked when director Shrouvya narrated the story of Hi Nanna to her. She said "
It is human tendency to get distracted while listening to a narration. But we all sat there, not moving from our seats. When you do not want a story to end and are eager to listen more, it is the best feeling ever.”
She also said “The film is not only about the hero. Everyone has a part to play. Take one character out and the story will not be the same.”
Produced by Mohan Cherukuri and Dr Vijayendra Reddy under the banner of Vyra Entertainments, Hi Nanna features cinematography by Sanu Varghese and editing by Praveen Anthony. Apart from Mrunal Thakur and Nani, Hi Nanna also stars Baby Kiara Khanna in a pivotal roles. The music has been composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab.
