For those who don't know, the film was originally set for a global theatrical premiere on December 21, later, the film's makers decided to advance its release to December 7 to avoid a clash with Prabhas' action-packed thriller Salaar, which is directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF fame.

More about Nani and Mrunal Thakur

Nani's latest movie, Hi Nanna, is his second film this year, following the success of Dasara along with Keerthy Suresh. It's also Mrunal Thakur's second Telugu film after doing amazing in Sita Ramam alongside Dulquer Salmaan. In a recent interview with 123telugu.com, Mrunal mentioned, "After Sita Ramam, people wanted to see me in different roles. I focused on playing characters that are close to my heart. 'Hi Nanna' has a beautiful story, and I'm confident that viewers will really connect with the characters Viraj and Yashna."
As per our in-house review, "In terms of performance, Nani is subtle, natural and strikes a terrific chemistry with his On-screen pair Mrunal Thakur. Similar to her performance in Sita Ramam, Mrunal, plays the woman who communicates through her lovely smile and eyes. Baby Kiara is adorable as a young child, who earns for her mother's love. Hesham Abdul Wahab's music adds value to the film's plot making it a soulful one.
Hi Nanna, is earnest and heartfelt and makes you root for Yashna and Viraj's love story. The last 30-minutes are what makes the film stand out."
