Uttarkashi: Industrialist Anand Mahindra was all praise for the rescue workers who worked tirelessly for 17 days to evacuate workers trapped inside the Uttarakhand tunnel. Mahindra expressed his gratitude for the rescue workers as he hailed their effort saying, "that no tunnel is too difficult to emerge from".
"It's time for gratitude. Thank you to EVERY single person who worked tirelessly over the past 17 days to save these 41 precious lives. More than any sporting victory could have, you have uplifted the spirits of a country & united us in our hope. You've reminded us that no tunnel is too difficult to emerge from, no task is impossible when our actions & prayers are collaborative & collective. #Uttarakhand," he wrote on X.
His tribute to the hard work of the rescue workers has gained a lot of traction on social media with several users commenting on his post.

As the initial phase of the rescue operation unfolded, the NDRF personnel entered the tunnel to conduct a preliminary assessment of the trapped workers. The first individuals were safely extracted using modified stretchers, and medical professionals have affirmed that all workers are in good health.
