Maharashtra: In a shocking incident, body of a woman was recovered from a room in a lodge near Kalyan Railway Station. The police rushed to the scene and took custody of the body. A post-mortem examination was ordered.
As per the official from the MFC police station, the body was found in a lodge in Kalyan town this morning. The housekeeping staff found the woman lying dead in a suspicious manner in the room, the official said, as reported by The Free Press Journal.
According to the Thane Police officials, the body has been sent for a post-mortem, and further investigation is underway to nab the accused, as reported by the news agency ANI.
In another incident, the Mumbai Police discovered a lifeless body of a women inside and abandoned suitcase in the Kurla area, neighborhood of central Mumbai. The Officials discovered the women on Sunday, 19 November, after they received a tip of about the abandoned suitcase around 12:30 pm
The Suitcases was discovered on the CST Road at Shanti Nagar, where a metro project is currently under construction. After reaching at the location, the police uncovered the body of a women inside suitcase. The Mumbai Police registered a case under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and initiated a search operation.
