The Toyota Supra is the ultimate definition of an underdog in the car world. This lightweight has taken down several heavyweights of the car world in the past, especially the fourth generation Supra aka the ‘Mk IV Supra’ which sported the legendary ‘2JZ’ engine under the hood. It is this fourth gen car that gave rise to the famous catchphrase “Is That A Supra?”.
Toyota discontinued the Supra in 2002 and after 17 years of absence the company decided to resurrect the Supra name in 2019 with the fifth gen Supra. Die hard Supra fans were somewhat disappointed with this car as this generation of the car was developed by Toyota in partnership with BMW and it shares a lot of its platform and a lot of its parts with the BMW Z4 and it featured two engine options that are straight out of BMW’s stable. It even shared the production line with the BMW Z4.

Toyota states that the Toyota GR Supra GT4 100 Edition is based on the 450PS GR Supra GT4 EVO and it is a track only vehicle. This limited edition car will be offered in Toyota’s Plasma Orange paint scheme. Being a track only vehicle Toyota has removed the mufflers on this car and have given it a new exhaust system for symphony. Powering the car is a 3.0 L 6-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. The company hasn't revealed the power output figures and tune of this engine yet.
To make this super rare Toyota even more special the company has added the ‘100 Edition 1 out of 3’ livery on this car along with bespoke carbon fibre wing mirrors, endurance LED headlights and larger bonnet vents and a passenger seat.
Toyota has revealed the European pricing for this car. The Toyota GR Supra GT4 100 Edition for the European market has been launched at 2,20,000 Euros (without taxes and delivery charges).
