Spicejet Share Price News BSE Today: SpiceJet share price hit a fresh 52-week high in the early trade on Monday, December 11 to quote at Rs 59.70 a share on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). SpiceJet shares climbed north over 8 per cent to Rs 59.70 apiece on the BSE from the previous close of Rs 54.97 on Friday.

The sudden jump in price was witnessed after the airline announced plans to list its shares on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The airline did not mention any date of listing, but said it would occur “soon”.
The company in a regulatory filing, said "This is to inform you that in order to reach wider investor base, the Company shall soon be listing its securities on National Stock Exchange of India Limited."

Spicejet Share Price History

At the time of filing this report, Spicejet share price went up by 8.08 per cent to quote at Rs 59.41 a share on the BSE. The counter has delivered multibagger returns of a whopping 106.96 per cent in the last 180 days, making investors richer with massive gains. On Year-to-date (YTD) rate, the scrip has multiplied investors wealth by 52.61 per cent, as per BSE Analytics.
No-frills carrier SpiceJet board of directors will also meet on December 11, to consider various options to raise fresh funds on preferential basis. The announcement comes amid reports that SpiceJet promoter Ajay Singh was in discussions with a bunch of global private credit funds to raise up to USD 100-million.
