Sandeep Reddy Vanga Gets Mobbed By Fans In US, Director Calls Them ‘Right Crowd’ For Animal

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s latest directorial Animal has been making waves ever since it was released 2 weeks ago. The film which features Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, emerged as one of the greatest blockbusters of the year. Recently, as director Vanga was out and about in Dallas, Texas, for an event, he was eventually noticed and mobbed by fans who were excitedly chanting his name.

As Vanga was about to leave the venue after the event, a huge crowd of fans found its way to the filmmaker, blocking his path while chanting his name. A video of the incident is currently doing rounds on the internet.

In another video, as the director was hitting the ground running to promote his film in Dallas, Texas, he took to the stage to share a few words of admiration towards the US audience. He said, “What I really like about this crowd is that I didn’t hear any questions on misogyny. I’m so happy, you are the right crowd. You saw Animal as a film.” A video of the same has gone viral on Reddit.

Earlier, renowned filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma also expressed his contentment after watching the film. He took to his beloved X handle, the filmmaker wrote, “After watching ANIMAL I realised that the difference between @imvangasandeep and other mass commercial directors is that THEY all believe that the audience is far below them, and He believes that all the audience is exactly like him.” In his review, RGV also mentioned that he ‘wants to touch Sandeep's feet for many reasons.’

The movie Animal has surpassed all of Ranbir Kapor’s previous successes, and it has also set a new record for the most earnings by an adult film in Indian Cinema. The film has collected Rs 361 crore in India in less than two weeks, with the global income exceeding Rs 600 crore.
