Pune: Three Flights Diverted, Many Delayed at Lohegaon Airport Due To Low Visibility

Three flights were reportedly diverted and 15 were delayed at Lohegaon airport due to low visibility. According to the report, visibility dropped to 50 metres at 7 am, causing operational challenges.

As per Pune airport director Santosh Dhoke Star Air flight (S5-173) from Hyderabad returned due to adverse weather. Five departing flights were delayed, and 10 flights scheduled for arrival faced delays.
Passengers were quite frustrated due to diversion of flights. Airlines cited unavoidable bad weather as the reason behind the delay.
IndiGo passenger complained about a delay on flight (6E 391) from Pune to Bengaluru, citing discomfort during an hour-long wait. Airline acknowledged weather impact and discomfort, citing uncontrollable weather-related delays, the report further stated.
