The Oru Yamandam Premakatha actress died in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE). She worked in a bank there.
Apart from working with Dulquer Salmaan, Lakshmika was known for projects such as Uyare, Oru Kuttanaan Blog, Koon, Saudi Vellakka and more.

After the shocking news surfaced online, Lakshmika's last post grabbed everyone's attention.
On November 2, the actress shared a picture of a beautiful sunset with the caption: "HOPE, light despite all of the darkness…"

While many portals have reported her age as 24, Lakshmika was in fact 27. She celebrated her birthday earlier this year, in September.
The actress had given her followers glimpses of the celebrations. A picture showed her happily posing with a cake. Lakshmika also posted a clip which showed her cutting the cake with her friends and colleagues.
She had captioned the post: "This is how it started my 27. Ohh my gush I am getting aged. That’s to almighty for the strength to walk away from all the pains, stepping to another chapter of my life. Thanks to everyone for the love and wishes."
More details about the tragic demise are yet to be revealed.
