Kia Sonet facelift once launched in India will compete against rivals like Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and Hyundai Venue. With the facelift, the price of the car is expected to increase. Currently, the SUV comes with a starting price of Rs 7.79 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 14.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

Kia Sonet Facelift is set to make its debut in India on December 16. However, before the official announcement multiple details about the car have been leaked online. As per the latest update, the details of the SUV regarding the variants, powertrain options, and exterior design details have been leaked. This comes as a brochure of the upcoming SUV has been shared on social media platforms.
Based on the available information, the Kia Sonet facelift will be available in HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX+, and X-Line. Adding to it, the car will have 8 monotone and two dual-tone paint schemes. At the same time, the ‘Xclusive Matte Graphite’ paint on the X-Line trim will continue to exist as part of the colour options. It is to be noted that the SUV will now have the Pewter Olive colour. As part of the exterior updates, the car will have a newly designed alloy wheel. To be specific, it will have the option of 16-inch alloy wheels.
The features in the car include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, electric sunroof, connected car technology, climate control, electrically adjustable OVRM, driving modes, ambient lighting, digital instrument cluster, wireless charger, air purifier, IVRM, front ventilated seats, power-adjustable front seats, 360-degree camera, and more.
The car will focus on safety with features like electronic stability control, 6 airbags will be standard across variants, ABS, EBD, vehicle stability management, rear parking sensor, seat-belt reminder, hill start assist control, tire pressure monitoring system, and more.
As revealed in a previous teaser, the SUV will also have Level 1 ADAS with features like departure alert forward collision warning, lane keep assist, driver attention warning, and more in the car. This seems to be the same as the Hyundai Venue, which shares its underpinnings with the Kia Sonet.
The Kia Sonet remains the same in terms of powertrain. It will continue to have 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engines. The transmission options in the SUV include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, 6-speed automatic, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
