The counting of votes for the Rajasthan, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections is underway. At the time of writing, trends show the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leading in MP and Rajasthan, while the party has a neck-and-neck battle with Congress in Chhattisgarh. In Telangana, the Congress is ahead of Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS).

Incumbent Chief Minister of Telangana, Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao, is trailing in both Kamareddy and Gajwel constituencies. He is the founder and leader of the BRS.
