Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur has said that she was humbled by the love from the crowd after a fan was left teary-eyed after not getting the skipper's autograph. The veteran is playing in the three-match T20I series against Heather Knight's England. India played in front of a packed Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Wednesday, although they lost the game by 38 runs to go 0-1 down in the series.

Harmanpreet scored 26 runs off 21 deliveries with three fours and one six in the opening game before Sophie Ecclestone dismissed her in the 11th over. Shafali Verma and Richa Ghosh then added 40 runs for the fourth wicket, but the latter's wicket ended all hopes of India's win.
Chasing a huge target of 198, India fell way short and finished with 159/6 in 20 overs. Harmanpreet & Co. will be looking to make amends when they face Knight's girls in the second match on Saturday.
Harmanpreet is one of the three Indians along with Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma to score over 3000 runs in T20Is. In 141 T20Is, she has scored 3180 runs at an average of 28.14 with one century and 11 fifties to her name.
