Extra Ordinary Man Movie Review: Nithiin Aces Role As Junior Artist In Vakkantham Vamsi Film

Extra Ordinary Man directed and written by Vakkantham Vamsi, who has in the past written entertainers such as Kick and Race Gurram, has released in theatres on December 8. The film which stars, Nithiin in the lead roles, is said to tell the story of a junior artist, and how his life changes after a series of incidents.

Apart from Nithiin, the film stars Sreeleela, Rao Ramesh, Sampath Raj, Rohini and Dr. Rajashekhar.

As per the makers, Extra Ordinary Man tells the story of an actor who fills in as an extra, in the movie. The film will show the life of the actor, who is an ordinary man. But when the film completes the shoot, he becomes an extraordinary man. How his journey is changed with the arrival of Maisamma in his life — is the story. Mysamma is a deity, a myth. The whole story is led by the character Mysamma in the film.

Nithiin believes that narrating the struggles of junior artistes in the industry won’t help hold viewers’ attention. He said he doesn't think anyone would watch a movie if the makersnarrate the troubles of junior artistes.

On deciding to work on a film like Extra Ordinary Man Nithiin said he wanted to be a part of a film that he would be confident of. Love stories and entertainers have always worked in his favour, he also said that it is quite unique to play a junior artiste, it hasn’t been explore in Telugu cinema before.

Brahmaji, Ajay, Harsha Vardhan, Suman, Annapurnamma, Pavitra Naresh, Ravi Varma and Hyper Aadi are also a part of the movie.

Extra Ordinary Man is produced by Nithiin’s father N Sudhakar Reddy and his sister Nikitha Reddy. The music is composed by Harris Jayaraj.
