Actor Vishu Vishal, who has appeared in films such as Ratsasan, Gatta Kusthi and the soon-to-be released feature Lal Salaam, has appealed to the public to help him evacuate from his Chennai home.
The actor is currently stranded at his house in Karapakkam, which is located on the outskirts of Chennai. He took to social media to say that water levels are rising in his house, and that he doesn't have electricity.

Taking to social media, he said, "Water is entering my house and the level is rising badly in karapakkamI have called for help No electricity no wifi No phone signal Nothing Only on terrace at a particular point i get some signal Lets hope i and so many here get some help I can feel for people all over chennai #staystrong."Vishal condemns TN government
Earlier, actor Vishal condemned the government of Tamil Nadu, and questioned the mayor of Chennai for not taking steps to be better prepared for the natural disaster.In a video released on X (formerly known as Twitter), Vishal questioned the mayor of Chennai, asking her about the drainage project which was supposed to be implemented in the city. Vishal's message comes at a time when several families in the capital city of Tamil Nadu have had their lives displaced, as the rains left several regions inundated with flood water.

On the work front, Vishnu Vishal will soon be seen in Lal Salaam which is directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The Tamil film also stars Vikranth and has a cameo by superstar Rajinikanth. It will be released in theatres on Pongal 2024. The actor also has the films Mohandas and Aaryan in the pipeline.
