Aprilia RS 457 Prices To Be Announced Tomorrow: Here's What To Expect

One of the most anticipated product launches from Aprilia, the RS 457 is all set for launch tomorrow. By that, we mean that Aprilia will announce the price of the bike tomorrow at the India Bike Week biking festival taking place in Vagator, Goa. This will be the Italian bikemaker's first motorcycle that will be made in India, so enthusiasts will be praying for the price to be more on the spectrum of affordability. Pundits have already speculated that the Aprilia RS 457 might be priced between Rs 4-4.5 lakh.
The RS 457 slots below the RS 660 and RSV4 and the fact that it comes from the same family of fully-faired sports motorcycles is further reiterated by its body design. The entire bodywork is dominated by sharp cuts and creases that culminate down to the sinister-looking front fascia with its split LED headlamp design. Despite its aggressive stance, the rider's ergonomics is said to be a bit relaxed to balance comfort and committed posture.
Powering the Aprilia RS 457 will be an all-new 457cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crank. So, expect the RS 457 to have a mean soundtrack to grab attention. Aprilia has not revealed the torque figures of this mill, however, we do know that it will produce 47bhp.
The bike is built around a twin-spar aluminium frame, suspended by USD forks and a monoshock. Feature-wise, it will come fitted with a TFT console, along with multi-level traction control, and a quick shifter.
Pre-bookings for the Aprilia RS 457 have already commenced in India. The RS 457 will compete in a segment that includes competition in the form of KTM RC 390 and the Kawasaki Ninja 400.
