Aprilia Rs 457 will be the first motorcycle of the Italian brand in the segment

Aprilia's most anticipated product in India, the RS 457 has been launched at a price of Rs 4.10 lakh (ex-showroom) at the Indian Bike Week festival in Goa. The new motorcycle gained significant attention even before its official launch because of being the Italian manufacturer's first Made-In-India motorcycle. Furthermore, this motorcycle has entered a segment full of popular motorcycles like KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310, Kawasaki Ninja 400, and others.
The Aprilia RS 457 fills the gap between the RS 660 and RSV4 with a design that complements the brand's style of sports motorcycles. Getting into the details, the motorcycle gets a sleek, sharp, and sporty design, which combined with dark paint gives it an aggressive look. Moving ahead, the bike seems to have an aerodynamic design that holds the attention along with the design of the split-LED headlamps.
The features of the new Aprilia RS 457 include a 5-inch coloured TFT screen which functions as the instrument cluster on the motorcycle. It also gets a multi-level traction control and a quick shifter.
The sports bike is based on a twin-spar aluminum frame, with the mechanics including elements like USD forks, and a rear-monoshock. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and is equipped with a dual-channel anti-lock braking system on both ends.
The Aprilia RS 457 is built around a 457cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine that gives out 47 bhp of power. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. This combined with the 159 kg weight (dry weight) of the motorcycle the bike will have a good power-to-weight ratio.
